We are truly building a Rock Solid Foundation in Jesus Christ. We invite you to come and worship with us as we glorify God thru Jesus Christ.
Our goal is to enable you to make faith in God a vital part of your everyday life. We encourage you to have faith in God and believe that he is able to sustain you.

We create environments where worship is meaningful and contemporary, teaching from the Bible is relevant to life situations, friendships are significant, care is compassionately encouraging and prayer is practiced as continuing communication with God.
It is thru these practices that the Love of God flourishes in our lives and as his love abides in us, we grow spiritually.

About Our Pastor:
Rev. Clifton Boggans was born and has resided in Rankin County, MS throughout his life. He accepted his calling into the ministry in 1983. Although, surprised to have been chosen and beset with some reservations, he pressed forward with purpose and enthusiasm. Realizing the seriousness of the calling and the magnitude of the task, he hastily made some critical decision regarding his ministry which has served as guidelines even until the present. He was and is determined to walk humbly and upright before God, to prepare himself with a comprehensive study of God’s word, and to be a positive example to this fellowman.
Rev. Boggans’ quest for knowledge of God’s word and will has led him to study at McKinley, Reformed and International Seminaries. He is presently enrolled with Slidell Baptist Seminary, where he has received his Bachelors of Theology, is currently pursuing his Master’s of Divinity and his ultimate goal is to attain his Doctorate of Divinity. Annually, he takes classes in the National Baptist Sunday School Congress and Baptist Training Union and the MS Missionary Baptist Association. He also frequently attends workshops and seminars of varying subject matter to better empower him to minister to the total man.
Rev. Boggans began pastoring in 1986. He has pastored the following churches: County Line M. B. Church of Carthage, MS (1986-1987), Lillie Mae M. B. Church, Georgetown, MS (1987-1990), Bethlehem M. B. Church, Mendenhall, MS (1990-2008). He began his tenure of Rock Star M. B. Church, Brandon, MS on February 1, 2008. He also serves as the 2nd Vice Moderator of the Spring Hill District Association.
Rev. Boggans is married to Myrtis Dell Fletcher Boggans and they have three daughters; Kizzie, Stephanie and Shenna. Additionally, Rev. & Sis. Boggans are the grandparents of four grandsons.
