Mission:
As doorkeepers in the house of the Lord, Ushers manifest the love of
Christ to all who enter Rock Star Baptist Church.
To ensure that all traffic flows peacefully and harmoniously during all
worship services.
Duties:
Assist the Pastor and others by providing water/other beverages,
mints during service
Greet / Welcome Worshippers as they enter the church
Seat everyone at all worship services and/or special programs.
Assist in directing worshippers during ministry through giving.
Providing the weekly bulletin to members of the congregation;
provide information about church services, programs, and building facilities
Assist children, elderly & physically disabled and be attentive to
the needs of people during service.
Ensure that there are no disruptions during worship services/and/or
special programs
Cleaning up the church after Service, collecting excess bulletins
and papers left behind in the pews as well as fans, etc.
Handle any emergency situation with courage and composure.
Being guardians of the worship service, the Ushers should study
conditions of lighting, heating, ventilation, and seek to prevent anything that would bring
discomfort or distraction.

Baptist Church
Spiritual Requirements / Qualities:
Faithful worshipper, tither, and Bible Class/ Sunday School
attendance.
Friendly people who welcome all ages and nationalities.
Their faith enables them to see Christ's presence in individuals and
in the gathered community of believers.
Ushers are honest and dependable.
Ushers are dignified.
They carry a dignity about themselves even when performing menial
tasks.
