Mission: To maintain active involvement of members in the church and its ministries.

Romans 12:5   So we, [being] many, are one body in Christ, and every one members one of another.

1 Corinthians 12:12   For as the body is one, and hath many members, and all the members of that one body, being many, are one body: so also [is] Christ.

Duties of the Membership Committee

This Ministry works in conjunction with the

Deacon’s Family Ministry  to maintain membership.

It works to reclaim Strayed members.

Other responsibilities include:
  •  Distribute packet of information aimed at introducing Rock Star’s mission, and ministries to new members. 
  •  Receive Demographic data from New Members and schedule Orientation classes.
    •
  •  The committee will discharge the following general responsibilities concerning church members and regular attendees:
    •
  • Maintain adequate membership and attendance records (membership roll) to facilitate tracking and communication;
  • Record file names, addresses, phone numbers, and other pertinent information on active and inactive members.
  • Communicate relevant and current information through the issuance of Church membership directory
  • Coordinate with the Deacon Ministry on the following activities:
    •
  •  Follow-up on prolonged member or regular attendee absences
  •   Update of membership status
