Mission

 

To act for the church in the overall operation

 of the Church kitchen and it’s equipment;

Provide hospitality to all that grace it’s surroundings

 

 Duties of the Dining Ministry

                1.  Developing and recommending church policies outlying the proper use, care and

                     cleaning  of the Church’s Kitchen and dining area.

 

                2.  Providing the Church Kitchen with the necessary kitchen appliances, utensils,

                     and other items essential to the use of the kitchen.

 

                3. Ordering to ensure the kitchen is sufficiently stocked with supplies, such as plates,

                    napkins, cups, etc.; Assure that necessary supplies and equipment are available

                    for church functions by maintaining an inventory

 

                4.  Planning, preparing and serving meals; Cooperate with the full committee

                     in planning and preparing for special events,  such as Church Anniversary,

                     Pastor’s Anniversary, Christmas Fellowship, etc.

 

                5.  Keeping the kitchen and dining area in a clean and in an orderly fashion

                     according to the health department regulations.

 

                6.  Maintain a yearly Budget for the functioning of the kitchen.

 

                7.  Responsibility of oversight of the kitchen and dining area.

 

                8.  Make the facilities available for legitimate use to groups and individuals in the

                     church  and coordinate events so as to avoid scheduling conflicts; Schedule

                     or keep a log of the kitchen’s use such as weddings, special occasions, etc., 

                     so that overlapping will not occur.
